Home inspections have become major part of buying a home in today’s market. We don’t take that lightly here at Home Services by Collett. We want to make sure you are aware of the true condition of the property. Our job is to give you chance to see the house from a professional point of view. The good, the bad, the pretty, and the ugly. We would be honored to have the opportunity to look over your house with our 25+ years of experience and without buyer goggles on. We know it is an exciting time for you in the process of buying a house. We also know it can be a scary time as well. Doing your due diligence is super important. We want to help you through the process. Our job is to inspect every possible inch of the house that we can. We will spend quality time going through your new home thoroughly. That way you can make the best decisions for you and your family.

Comprehensive Home Inspection

Interior

Doors, windows, walls and ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, electrical outlets and switches, smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors and more.

HVAC

Heating and cooling units, ducting and registers, fireplace, and visual portions of chimneys, circulating air

Kitchen

All appliances, cabinetry, sinks and faucets, drains, garbage disposal and more.

Plumbing

Water heater, laundry, faucets, drains, visible gas and water line and LPG tanks, sump pumps, outside faucets and more.

Electrical

Light switches, plugs, GFCI circuits, ceiling fans, service panels,

Bathrooms

Tubs, showers, sinks, faucets, toilets, flooring, walls, ceilings, countertops, ventilation, and more.

Roof

Eaves, vents, shingles, flashing, and more.* Not all roofs will be walked on. Visual inspection only due to safety concerns.

Exterior

Siding/exterior finish, foundation, basement, crawlspace**, attic***, framing element, insulation, venting, porches, desk, drive ways, walkways, safety issues, and more.

Our inspection report will have detail descriptions of items, photos, and any noted defects.
